Mitsubishi Pajero Sport 2025 review: Updated 4WD rival to new Ford Everest gets put to off-road test

The 2025 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport has burst onto the Australian 4WD scene, but it's not the next-gen model many off-road enthusiasts were hoping for. Instead, the latest version of the large SUV is an update to the long-running third-generation wagon, with its sixth-generation Triton ute-based successor not due for another year or two.

That said, the new Pajero Sport has made some notable changes, headlined by revised front-end styling, while the rear bumper has a new garnish. The alloy wheels have also been refreshed, while a fresh four-spoke steering wheel has been introduced inside. Adaptive cruise control is also now standard range-wide.
