1. The Tales of Ug:
There once was a land called Ug
Full of strange people
And stranger beasts
Here are their stories
For these are the strangest of all

2. Belle and the Dragon
Lyrics:
Once in a land that is so far away there lived a young girl name Belle
And all in the village
Agreed when they’d seen her
There’s no fairer maiden to tell

Bell dreamed of love and a prince in a tower
Bell dreamed of tea and fine wine
So she set out hair adorned with a flower
In search of one fit for her kind

Came she upon a tower so vast
That she said here a prince surely lies
But when she entered and smelled burning sulfur
She found not what she had in mind

For there in the tower lay
There in the tower lay
A dragon

"Well, what do we have here
What’s your name?"
Says the dragon
"It’s Bell"
"Bell, I will chew your bones
And then spit them out
And roast them in my flaming breath"

So here concludes
The tale of the one they called Belle
For she's no more than ash

3. Strings of Skin (Tale of the Accursed Bard)
They speak of a bard
Who travels alone
His name is unknown
But wherever he goes
Death surely follows
When he comes to your town
And the sun has gone down
In the taverns of sin
He'll play strings of skin

4. Tragedy of a Grub
In the sands of Ugrathir
A monstrous grub lies in wait for unsuspecting travellers
Universally feared
Occasionally revered
But always alone
And so he sings

Lyrics:
Why me?
I'm just a friendly little
Grub in the ground and
I know
You're so
Afraid
Of me
Why don't
You come
See?

I'm not the monster that
They try to make me
They try to slay me
So I eat them

Stay here with this little grub
Who lives in the ground
Stay here with me
I'm looking for a friend

Stay here with this little grub
And make me feel less alone
Surely someone out there
Surely someone out there
Could love me

5. The Horned Demon of Ug
The terror of land and sky
He rides a filthy and unnamed beast
Pitchfork in hand
His joyous cry echoes in the night
Striking terror in both man and beast
They say he was once a human
But how can a man
Become something like that?
He laughs as he ponders the question
For he no longer remembers the answer

6. The Forest of Flesh and Bone
After descending the mountain trail from the peaks of Agrazan, it is not uncommon to find oneself on a winding path bordered on each side by the forest known as Gerilash. Stick to that path and before long the iron gates of Basharath appear on the horizon. But wander off, and the lush greenery of Gerilash slowly begins to transform.

Branches become gnarled, suffused with rot and reeking of dead things. They curl into each other as if possessed by a morbid desire. The sound of birds chirping and leaves rustling in the wind gives way to a most unnatural silence. A silence like a deep chasm, that holds secrets of old and terrible things, things untouched by even the most ancient and unspoken tales of man. Let us pray a silent prayer for those who unknowingly wander into this place, the one they call Shireeth Banshazar—the forest of flesh and bone.

7. God of Despair
The people of Ug lift their voices
To a god whose name they have forgotten
He sits at the peaks of Agrazan
And laughs at their suffering
For he has forgotten what it's like
To be a man

Lyrics:
I've been listening very closely
To your prayers my child
To your prayers
I've been listening very closely
To your prayers
To your prayers
And I can say
And I would not hesitate to say
That they will remain
Unanswered for the rest of your days

8. The Green Eyed Monster
A child awakes to find she is not alone
Startled she cries out to her mother
Only to realise that the face before her
Is not unfamiliar

For children of Ug are warned
That if the Green Eyed Monster
Should come to them in sleep
They must refuse its demands
And go on dreaming

And taking the child by the hand
The Green Eyed Monster travels
Through green eyed lands
Lands of joy and of play
But also horror and dismay

"For this is life" the monster says
"One day you'll pray to return to these days
For I was like you
And you'll be like me too"

9. Symphony of the Lurker
Deep in the caves of Basharath
Something wicked lurks
Something cursed dwells
Something evil swells
Any man who journeys that way
Returns different to when he came
For his ears have heard
And his thoughts turned absurd
By the symphony of the Lurker

10. Remembering Belle
So let us tell
The story of Belle
As the bard strums his strings
Which are made out of skin
And a lonely grub sings
To a horned demon king
As he flies over head
To a forest so dead
Where a careless god smiles
At his one Green Eyed child
Whose mother still lurks
In the caves full of murk
While the children lie snug
In the land known as Ug
