Michael Douglas Honors Alan Arkin After ‘Kominsky Method’ Co-Star’s Death

Michael Douglas, Sheryl Lee Ralph, and more are reacting to the shocking passing of Alan Arkin. On Friday, "The Kominsky Method" star took to Instagram to share a heartfelt tribute to his friend and co-star. "Today we lost a wonderful actor whose intelligence, sense of comedy and consummate professionalism over the past 70 years has left an indelible mark on our industry. My experience of working with Alan were some of my most memorable. He will be deeply missed. Sincere condolences to his wife, Suzanne, and his family," Michael wrote. Sheryl Lee Ralph also honored the late star, whose rep confirmed to NBC News that he died at the age of 89. "I know we all die but somehow I thought he’d live forever. RIP Mr. Alan Arkin," the "Abbott Elementary" star tweeted. Rob Schneider and Patton Oswalt also shared sweet notes. His cause of death as not been revealed. "Our father was a uniquely talented force of nature, both as an artist and a man. A loving husband, father, grand and great grandfather, he was adored and will be deeply missed," his sons Adam, Matthew and Anthony said in a statement.
