Whitecross é uma banda de hard rock cristã que foi formada no ano de 1986 em Chicago, lançando sua primeira gravação no ano seguinte. Os álbuns mais recentes, que freqüentemente os fazem ser comparados com Ratt, contém rápidos trabalhos técnicos em guitarra. Com a partida do guitarrista Rex Carroll em 1992, o som da banda sofreu uma drástica mudança; dessa forma alguns fãs mostraram preferência ou pelos álbuns mais antigos, outros pelos álbuns mais recentes. 

Whitecross ganhou três Dove Award, dois por "Álbum de Hard Rock do Ano" com Triumphant Return em 1990 e In the Kingdom em 1992 e um por "Come Unto The Light" do álbum Unveiled, por "Melhor Gravação de Hard Rock no Ano" em 1995.

Whitecross is a Christian hard rock band that formed in 1986 in Chicago, releasing their first recording the following year.[1] Their most recent albums, which often have them compared to Ratt, contain rapid technical guitar work. With the departure of guitarist Rex Carroll in 1992, the band's sound underwent a drastic change; thus some fans showed a preference for either the older albums, others for the newer albums.

Whitecross has won three Dove Awards, two for "Hard Rock Album of the Year" with Triumphant Return in 1990 and In the Kingdom in 1992, and one for "Come Unto The Light" from the album Unveiled, for "Best Hard Rock Recording of the Year" in 1995.
