It's Perch and Laker Season. This year the winter weather was delayed therefore delaying the perch season. There are more reports of lakers being caught this year in Chicago. You can catch Lakers from shore nearly anywhere in Chicago. From 83rd street slip up to Montrose harbor. I was using lite gear because is was using my perch set up. In the video I mentioned using 8lb test but it's actually 6lb fluorocarbon line on this reel. These Lakers were between 13lbs-15lbs. Thanks for watching and subscribing.
