NSW 491 Regional Direct Pathway Clarified

The NSW Government is now offering a new direct pathway for Regional NSW skilled migrants seeking nomination for the Skilled Work Regional visa subclass 491!

This is fantastic news for anyone currently working in their nominated occupation (or a closely related occupation) and residing in a designated regional area of NSW. This pathway allows eligible people who have lived and worked in regional NSW for at least a year to apply for a 491 visa nomination with 65 points.

This means that eligible applicants will not be required to meet higher points thresholds for individual occupations, and they will not be required to have additional work experience beyond the 12 months of employment if they are in a skilled occupation.
