The FLTA experience: An interview with David Lautner

Im Programmjahr 2023/24 war David Lautner tätig als Fulbright-Sprachassistent, oder FLTA, am Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, im Rahmen des Austrian Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant Program, oder FLTA-Programm. Als FLTA verbrachte er ein akademisches Jahr in Maine, unterrichtete dort Deutsch als Fremdsprache und belegte Kurse an der Uni. Nach dem Jahr haben wir uns mit ihm getroffen, um über seine Fulbright-Erfahrung in den USA zu sprechen.

During the 2023–24 program year, David Lautner worked as a Fulbright foreign language teaching assistant, or FLTA, at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, as part of the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant Program, or FLTA Program. As an FLTA, he spent an academic year in Maine, where he taught German as a foreign language and attended university courses. At the end of his year, we met up with him to learn more about his Fulbright experience in the US.
