The Reverend® Sour Mash Corn Whiskey pays homage to seven generations of American distillers and whiskey makers. The Reverend Dan Call®, mentor to a young Jasper Daniel and friend to trailblazing distiller Nathan Green, gave up his stake in the Old No. 7® distillery to live the life of a preacher. However, his descendants carry on his legacy with The Reverend®, a hand-crafted, small-batch, sour mash whiskey, aged for over four years in new charred oak and first-fill bourbon casks, then refined and enhanced using a maple charcoal filtration process.

For nearly three generations, Star Rods has paid homage to our founder’s legacy: make every rod by hand, finish every rod with refined details and charge a fair price for the performance and the quality of the build.
