Ever had a teacher tell you to “sing in the mask” and not know what the heck she was talking about? 😷

You may nor may not be using "placement" as you sing or teach. It's a useful concept, though the meaning can be pretty squishy.

This edited version of a previous video teases apart what placement can mean, and how it can be used in the studio

The conundrum of “placement” CAN be understood! In fact, it’s possible to use the concept of “placement” to help your students. Especially your students of microphone-based genres! 🎤

If you feel confused about this issue, you’re in good company.
You might be a teacher who uses this concept often.

But if it never made sense to you, then you’re not using it.

Either way, you could be missing a great opportunity to help your students of popular styles.
