The upper end of the Sacramento valley is home to the Turtle Bay Exploration Park in Redding. Split by the Sacramento River and joined by the 700’ long Sundail Bridge, it’s home to a museum, arboretum and conference center. It’s also a popular trailhead for Redding’s extensive river trail system.
