This is the king of all our PC builds, we have the most powerful gaming CPU on the market in the 5800x3D paired with the second best GPU from AMD in the 6900xt. On paper the 5800x3D may not seem as powerful as the i9-12900k or 5950x but with AMDs new 3D V-Cache technology after running extensive benchmarks it turns out gaming takes up a lot more CPU cache than we realized, it outperforms the 12900k and 5950x in any benchmark you throw at it, truly remarkable for the price. The 6900xt may not be the most powerful GPU on the block but for only a 6% performance gain jumping up to the 6950xt the extra cost to you really doesn't make sense.


This duo can easily run 4k gaming at max settings, and even run the highest end ray tracing keeping close to 60 fps especially with AMDs new FSR 2.0 resolution scaling.

I would recommend this build for anyone looking to do the highest end graphics in casual games on the couch with a nice 4k television.
