These Sephora products have near-perfect 5-star reviews… but do they actually deserve the hype? Today, I’m testing some of the highest-rated new makeup, but before I try them, I’m reading the worst reviews to see what people really think. Are the 1-star reviews telling the truth, or are these products worth the praise?
We all know that brands flood Sephora, Ulta, and other beauty retailers with incentivized reviews before a product even hits the shelves. Many 5-star reviews come from PR platforms like Influenster, BzzAgent, and Octoly, where people receive free products in exchange for a review. But are those glowing reviews real or just marketing? That’s why I always check the negative reviews first!
