Apologies for the cuts within this video, arrived late and had to chase down a member of my party to notify them of where to meet me early in the video. The phone I was using to record this was having some glitches and I had to occasionally cut in order to get the lens to focus correctly after switching to a different zoom level.

This is filmed on a iPhone 13 Pro in 4K 60 fps, never used pinch to zoom, only the zoom buttons (.5x, 1x, 3x) with Lock Camera setting to off under Settings, Camera, Record Video.
