How to Use WhatsApp’s Private Reply Feature

WhatsApp has added a new feature that allows users to privately reply to messages sent in group chats. Watch this video to learn how to privately reply to messages in WhatsApp group chats.

To start, make sure you’ve updated WhatsApp to the newest available version. Then, open WhatsApp and select the group chat you want to privately reply to a message from. Scroll through your chat to find the message you want to reply to. Tap and hold on the message bubble. Tap More. In the menu that appears, select Reply Privately. Then you can reply to the person who sent the message privately, without the other group members knowing. The group chat message you’re replying to will be quoted automatically, so the person you’re messaging will know exactly what you’re referring to.
