105. Glazing Pottery with Textures

Glazing Pottery with textures is a little bit different than glazing pots with a flat surface.

The goal when glazing textured pottery is - in most cases, to highlight the textures. I use two different techniques for ths.

I also mention a special Japanese style wash that is a mix of several oxides. This is the name and recipe I use:

Gosu Slip
Manganese Oxide: 40%
Iron Oxide: 30%
Cobalt Oxide: 20%
Redart Clay: 10%
