Thomas And Friends - Live On Stage 2009

14 years ago I uploaded 2 segments of the show and it reached over 300K in views and still going. I recorded mostly segments with my son Kyle and the music parts that were memorable. This is not the complete show but everything I have here is placed together in a full show. Kyle my only son is autistic. Daily learning with sensitivity issues and communication problems, Thomas has been the #1 Train in his life. Still to this day, Kyle loves Thomas and can quote a passage or have the deepest knowledge on Thomas subjects in full depth. He is also one of the largest collectors of the toy line in our area. Autism in adults and in children have a tendency to enjoy the early Thomas episodes. Simple, clean and realistic models. Since then and a few companies later, Thomas is currently owned by Mattel. Same as barbie and Hot Wheels but, he is under their Fisher-Price umbrella and geared towards kids 3-12. There is a HUGE community out there that would love to see this #1 and friends be the way he used to be and not a cartoon. only Mattel can step now and make this happen. You can't take the autism out but, you can guide it to grow for the better with the right team and focus again.

The camera I used is a Sony DSLR, 7MP Camera. It recorded only MPEG 1 video and mono audio. Since the age of these digital files are getting harder to be compatible to watch on TV's and other devices, I had tried my best with the software I have to adjust, enlarge, clean-up, enhance and upscale the video. I think it cam out pretty good versus the source file issues.

Thomas Live On Stage / May 5th 2009, Sear's Center Arena in Hoffman Estates, IL.

We were early to the show to enjoy the room and see what goodies of Thomas was sold. Right before the show a clown would come out of the curtain sides and do tricks and hide for kids. At the end, I kept filming walking back to the family car. During that walk you can see the Thomas swag and Kyle eventually finishing the video with talking to Grandma on my wife's old flip phone.
