India's Jaishankar Says No Bilateral Talks With Pakistan During SCO Summit | Subscribe to Firstpost

India's External Affairs Minister ruled out bilateral talks with Pakistan during his scheduled visit to Islamabad for the Leaders' Summit of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) on October 15 and 16. Speaking at an event in New Delhi on October 5, Jaishankar said that he would visit Islamabad to attend a multilateral event and not to discuss India-Pakistan relations. The last Indian external affairs minister to visit Pakistan was Jaishankar's predecessor Sushma Swaraj. She had travelled to Islamabad in December 2015 to attend a conference on Afghanistan.
