BIKES: GIVI Malaysia Launches NEW "Antartica" Top-Box + Dominar D400 Walkaround!! | EvoMalaysia.com

GIVI, one of the leaders in cargo-carrying solutions for bikes, recently launched the new "Antartica" top-box, the latest in a line of boxes that will be available in Malaysia at all 350 dealers nationwide by August 2020.

We were hosted at Givi Malaysia's HQ in Bukit Beruntung, Rawang recently, and each of us media in attendance were given one to test. Built right here in their factory and exported all over the world, Malaysia will be the first to have these new boxes, followed by Europe.

Designed by local lad Ilham, and built right here for local use and export, the 42-litre "Antartica" (sic) comes with a 2-year Warranty & back-up / after-sales-repair service , and is expected to retail at around RM420/- (MSRP).

One of the highlights of the new box are the 4 big reflectors on the rear, which provide much-needed visibility at night. Made from very high-quality material, these reflectors are indeed a future life-saver, I'm sure of it. I've lost count of the number of times I've seen bikes at night with no rear lights and no reflectors.

Well done Givi, this is a damn fine top-box!! Folks, stay tuned till the end, there's a 'credit-scene' :P

PS: I also did a very quick walkaround of my Modenas Dominar D400 while waiting for the launch to commence, more to come on this bike which I bought late last year but haven't ridden much, stay tuned!! :)
