Food vlogger Lelde gave IntoFood her top three Riga food markets. Her absolute favorite is the Riga Central Market. This is Europe’s largest market and it is housed in a former World War 1 zeppelin hangars. This markets has something for everything regardless of your food preference and income.

Number 2 is Kalnciema kvartāla tirdziņš. This market is not your average food market. It is a more posh farmers market open only on Saturday. The eggs are free-range, the bread home made and the goats cheese is organic. In other words this is the place to go to for your organic groceries.

Lelde’s number 3 is Āgenskalna tirgus. This is a really great local neighborhood food market. You can mostly buy fruit and vegetables there, all fresh. The market is in an old red brick building giving it a lot of charisma.
