Who's Bright Idea was this? | A Lighthouse on the Canal | Boat Life [Ep 170]

This week I cruise The Rum Wench to Worsley over the Manchester Ship Canal via the Barton Swing bridge. After a day in the village of Worsley with its orange waters and also managing to fit in a brief tour of a Wide beam boat. I then continue my cruise up the Leigh Branch on the Bridgewater canal to link with the Leeds Liverpool Canal at long last! I meet some amazing fellow boaters and go from emergency rations to a feast fit for a king!

After selling my house to experience an alternative lifestyle I bought a canal boat and a camper van which as a solo female who loves to travel, gives me the best of both worlds. I also work full time off grid from my tiny home and trade at canal festivals as The Narrowboat Pirate aboard The Pirate Boat.
