Can you survive 24 hours in Nepal with just ₹1000 INR? 😱🇳🇵
In this video, I take on the ₹1000 Challenge in Nepal’s capital city Kathmandu, where 1 INR = 1.6 NPR, meaning my total budget is 1600 Nepali Rupees.

This is not just about surviving —
👉 I must eat breakfast, lunch & dinner
👉 I must find a place to stay
👉 And I must explore Kathmandu city properly

💸 Budget Breakdown – ₹1000 Challenge Nepal
I start the day by filling petrol worth 200 NPR, then explore Kathmandu Durbar Square, one of Nepal’s most historic UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including the local market area.

Next, I try authentic Newari momos near Durbar Square for just 60 NPR — cheap, local, and insanely tasty 😋

From there, I head to Patan Durbar Square, which feels like a twin of Kathmandu Durbar Square, rich in culture, temples, and history.

For lunch, I experience a traditional Newari Thali, which is completely different from Indian meals —
❌ No rice
✅ Beaten rice with unique curries
A must-try local food experience in Nepal!

🛏️ Budget Stay in Kathmandu (Thamel)
Finding a stay was tough, but I managed to get a hostel room in Thamel for just 320 NPR — clean, safe, and right in the heart of the city.

In the evening, I explore Kathmandu street food, including Ramji Ki Papdi Chaat (110 NPR) — super tasty and popular among locals.

Then I walk through Thamel Market, famous for:
• Dance bars & cafés
• Backpackers & foreigners
• Cheap winter trekking gear


🍳 Local Breakfast & Current Affairs
The next morning, I try a full local Nepali breakfast:
Sel Roti, Golamari, Malpuri, Jalebi, Tea, Chhenna & Egg — all for just 105 NPR 🤯

✅ Challenge Result
After checking out from the hostel, I complete the 24-hour challenge in Kathmandu and still have 505 NPR left 💥
Mission successful!
After that, I explore the Nepal Parliament area, which was recently set on fire during the Zenz Protest, and explain the full situation and ground reality in detail.
• First-copy branded clothes at very low prices

I end the night with a real mango juice for just 30 NPR, then crash for the day 😴
