Yes its not always fun and games. This was supposed to be a 3 day packrafting trip but after falling and breaking my right big toe and hiking 15 km/9.3 miles on top of that with heavy load I knew that would not happen. Rain was crazy and I could not sleep all night due to extreme pain and being totally soaked. Next morning I packed up and got picked up. Worst 2 days in a looong time. Guess I won’t be hiking the next 4 weeks minimum. I hope this heals before my upcoming Island trip or I will switch my trekking poles for crunches…Enjoy watching me being tortured ;)
