How to invest in mutual funds for long-term gains? Ft. Mohit Bhatia

In this video, Mr Mohit Bhatia, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Bank of India Mutual Fund will talk about how one could get the Power of Compounding benefit from equity mutual funds. Equity mutual funds hold shares of businesses and these businesses reinvest their profits back into the business. This results in the growth of the business and increase in the price of their shares. This is the Power of Compounding. One could follow the 15-15-15 mutual fund thumb rule which instills discipline when investing in equity mutual funds. However, there is no guarantee that you will get 15% average annual returns from your equity mutual funds. However, you will still be able to reach your financial goals if you stay with your equity mutual funds for the long term. You must stay with your mutual fund SIPs for 15, 20 or 25 years to get the massive power of compounding benefit.
