Meretz UK and We Democracy are thrilled to launch "Smol Talks"—a series of engaging conversations exploring the present and future of the left in Israel and within the global Jewish community post 7.10.
In our first session, we focused on the experience of being Israeli and Jewish in the UK after the 7.10. Many have said the events of 7.10 were "eye-opening" and for some, there appears to be a shift to the right. Others have felt betrayed by the International Left. How is the Jewish community in the UK impacted by this ideological shift, and what can we do to provide support from afar?
