Описание к видео Pokémon Battle Revolution #94 - VS. RICCARDO

DON'T LET YOUR GARD DOWN

lol @ me misspelling Meredith's name at the beginning.

Since the last battle was a little too straightforward than I'm sure you all like, here's another one. I bet those people who have subscribed to me for SSF4 and Tekken 6 videos are pretty annoyed. Heh. If it wasn't for that whole ordeal with my disabled videos, this marathon would've been done over a week ago! But hang tight, fighting game lovers! There are only 6 more of these to go!

Manectric - Lex - Magnet Rise, Thunder Wave, Flamethrower, Thunder

Not an extremely large movepool, but many Electric-types share the same curse. Luckily, there are always a couple of moves that jump out as must-haves, and Flamethrower is certainly one of those for Manectric. It's not the best move to use after Floatzel has used Rain Dance, but it doesn't need to be used then anyway as Thunder is so darn powerful...and Floatzel can take care of anyone Flamethrower would potentially be aimed for if Manectric can't. They're really a great team.

Roserade - Masque - Weather Ball, Energy Ball, Sludge Bomb, Protect

Roserade's special defense is okay. If Floatzel can get a Rain Dance up, Roserade could take a Flamethrower (or maybe even a Heat Wave) from a Fire-type Pokemon and retaliate with Weather Ball. One of the least used Pokemon on the team, Roserade is often a sacrifice. I may have to find a battle later that really shows Roserade off. He's a cool looking Pokemon and deserves more respect!

Floatzel - Aquamarine - Ice Punch, Rain Dance, Waterfall, Crunch

LOVE this guy...er...girl. Heh. Like Persian, I am expecting to use Floatzel again in Gen. 5. Unfortunately, I won't be able to use it on a team similar as this as the theme of this team is Pokemon you can catch in the wild under level 20 in D/P/Pt. Anyway, this is a fun set, and it covers so much ground. With a focus sash, the only things scaring Floatzel are priority moves. Teamed up with speedy Manectric, once Rain Dance is up, the opponent is truly in for a fight.

Vespiquen - Veronica - Defend Order, Tailwind, Attack Order, Roost

Again, I need to be reminded to lead with her because after everyone else has done their job, there isn't much else for her to do. As you can tell by her moveset, she's annoying as heck. I remember once where I was able to get in 6 Defend Orders and it ended up being Vespiquen vs. Cresselia and Zangoose. I managed to stall them out of PP and win. It was pretty awesome. A battle like that couldn't be uploaded since it'd run too long, but I'm hoping to get a good one with Vespiquen in the future. I just need to pull this team out more often. That's part of the problem.

Hitmonchan - Dudley - Bulk Up, Fake Out, Ice Punch, Drain Punch

I can sometimes get one or two Bulk Ups in as you've seen in the past, but this guy is mostly about the attacks. I really like Hitmonchan's ability Iron Punch because it boosts the power of both Ice Punch and Drain Punch...two moves that are generally not very strong. With Drain Punch, it's excellent because it basically means that Hitmonchan's health will be refilled that much more. This has been a pretty successful set for my favorite Fighting-type. He can go many different ways too.

Gardevoir - Flow - Imprison, Psychic, Thunderbolt, Shadow Ball

Imprison is usually used for Pokemon with Protect, Explosion, Trick Room, etc. Instead, I use it on Gardevoir to prevent common opponents from launching their common moves on his (yes...his) partners and himself while also having three moves that can certainly do damage to the opponents with a special attack of 193 at level 50. He may appear to be wearing a dress, but this guy is no joke.

This battle was interesting. Why RICCARDO chose all three Fighting-types to face this team is the big question since Gardevoir was just dieing to be selected in spite of Crawdaunt and Spiritomb. Wormadam actually would've been a good choice for a late game player, but alas...she wasn't used.

By the way, I wasn't being an ass with Vespiquen. Defend Order was a misclick. I thought I hit Attack Order.

I chose - Floatzel, Gardevoir, Vespiquen, and Roserade

RICCARDO chose - Hariyama, Poliwrath, Spiritomb, and Toxicroak
