In this episode we visited the Medfield State Hospital to watch Shutter Island, a film by Martin Scorsese that was filmed on site. We brought a picnic from local restaurant Kravings in Millis. The Medfield State Hospital grounds are open to the public, however the insides of the buildings are off limits. The drive-in movie is hosted by the Coolidge Corner Theater, an independent art house cinema in Brookline, Massachusetts.
