I just picked up this 2014 CRF250L, I did the following Mods:
1) Yoshimura RS-4 Full Exhaust System (takes about 20 minutes to take off stock system and install new one, very simple, no modifications needed and it sound so damn good, it will give you chills.)
2) EJK (along with the Yoshi exhaust, i added the EJK, again, very easy, you just unplug the stock connector on the injector and plug the EJK in line, I have small hands, so I was able to squeeze my hand in there and plug it in, then just route the wire to the back and velcro it to where the "manual" goes, the EJK comes with velcro, the wires are long so you can hide them somewhere underneath the seat)
3) Airbox Mod (I drilled three 1 inch holes on the airbox lid and 2 other holes on the top part of the airbox, right next to where the snorkel is, which you also can remove, I bought these UNI Air Box Filter Air Vents)
4) 13T counter balance sprocket (I didn't feel the difference at first, but then I tuned the EJK to 2.5 Green, 2.5 Yellow(orange) and 3 Red and now the bike really picks up)
5) Seat Concepts "comfort seat" low profile (the seat's material is very grippy, really holds you in place, at first I didn't think it was that much more different than the stock seat, but after a long ride my ass didn't hurt like it did on the stock seat) plus the black really murders out the bike
6) Zeta XC Handguards with Flashers (I'm using the stock handle bar 7/8"), I unbolted the stock front turn signals and then just cut the wires right at the stem of the signals, somewhat simple, get some extra zip ties to route the new flashers wire (on the stock turn signals there are 3 wires, but the Zeta XC Flashers have 2, here's a link to the wiring: http://www.honda-crf250l.com/crf250l-...
7) CRF250L DRC Edge2 Tail Light Kit (tail light eliminator, looks awesome, have about 4 different settings for the blinkers style, just follow the instructions on the wiring, I did kind of a crappy job on the first try, it works good, but I'm gonna go back and redo the job to make it look cleaner, all these wires go under the seat.
8) Frame access plugs (you can cover those 4 ugly frame access holes with these "1/8" Inch Chrome Universal Multi Purpose Hole Plug", they sell them on ebay. You need 3 of the 1 1/8 inch and one of 1 1/4" for the one behind the frame guard. the just slip right in. looks great (See video)
Overall, I'm pretty happy with all the upgrades, I would play around with the EJK to find the setting you like, the "recommended" settings are 3 green, 3 yellow, 6 red (thats high), 5, 4 and 4.5 according to http://www.electronicjetkit.com/DirtB...
