Keppel Bay Shell Show in Yeppoon & Unboxing the Seashell Purchases

Well, more like an "unbagging" the shells! It was my absolute pleasure to travel to Yeppoon on the Capricorn Coast for the first time ever. The scenery was lovely, especially around the coastal highway, but seeing the Keppel Bay Shell Club's Annual Shell Show, and seeing Shell World in Yeppoon, is what brought the biggest smile to my face.

I had an absolutely fantastic weekend away; it was jam-packed with a lot of driving (Yeppoon is 14 hour round trip), but I got to spend the time with amazing people and see a huge range of rare and incredible seashells. These are memories that I will hold dear for many years to come.

This was my first time camping (in a caravan park, but still...) so I am forever thankful to Mr Sheller and his wife for letting me share a site with them. They are absolutely lovely people to spend time with, and helped me a lot with understanding this type of accommodation. Thank you!!
