The Behemoth boss has a horn appendage with a rare break drop of a Behemoth Tears, which imbues Penetrator X (the common drop is the Behemoth Incisors). It might take a few hours to get, depending on luck. Therefore, what I recommend new players do is to instead get a Cactuar Needle (imbues standard Penetrator) and making a slightly weaker Dragon Whisker to get them through the storyline. The Cactuar Needle is easily obtained by mining Fragile Rocks in Meldacio or dropped by Cactuars. When you get the 30% Cid Buff and want to build your perfect or "ultimate" DW or other weapon, come back and farm for the Tears.
