Kinuwestyon sa Senado ang kawalan ng pirma ng card holders sa national identification card na iniisyu ng Philippine Statistics Authority.

Samantala, pinaiimbestigahan naman sa Commission on Audit ang posibleng paglabag ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas sa pag-imprenta ng national ID.
