So there's a hurricane creeping towards us on the Gulf Coast. It's supposed to make landfall near us at a Cat 1-2. Maybe less than that l if it loses steam. 🙏

I went shopping with the family and picked up some water, flashlights, candles, and sandwich supplies. This storm shouldn't be too bad, especially for us since we're on an elevated property. But anytime you lose power in Texas is not good. It happens often and for long periods of time here... 🤦‍♀️

So we're preparing regardless. 💯

I know Hurricane Beryl has already hit parts of the Caribbean (St. Vincent, Grenada, Jamaica) and Mexico and it's looking to hit Houston too, which is really unfortunate because these are communities that continually have to deal with these storms every year. 😮‍💨
