18 months ago, Sam Jones, BeBold History, had an informal chat with Dr James Boyce about his experience as a historian working throughout the Australian History Wars and what we Brits might learn from this.
Although the conversation was recorded as part of a wider discussion about Australian colonial history, we had never intended to release it.
However, with the emergence of similar culture wars in Britain over the last 18 months, this conversation seems now especially pertinent.
As such we've decided to release this video. Hopefully it might benefit us as a history teaching community, or at least, offer some food for thought.
