Today the Mandir is located about 16 Kms from Gujranwala, near Gakhar Mandi and is just 2.1 Km from the GT Road National Highway towards the West side. The road is carpeted and fine for even a regular car. On all sides, the location is within the precincts of DHA Gujranwala and we don’t know for sure if it is marked for preservation or not.

Mandir is surrounded by a pond on all sides. Wikipedia mentions a langar building which was nowehere when I visited. Mandir itself is connected to the road via a beautifully arched bridge. Some of the work on the mandir walls is still intact. The pond has a walled enclsure which was probably used by women. There is a clear canal structure for bringing in the water and probably manage the overflow, but the source of water is not clear. Since the canal has a large Pipal tree which used to be accompanied by a pond to collect rainwater, maybe that water was channeled to the mandir pond. There are two large pillars with space in between at the very side on which water inflow is anticipated. the purpose of this is not clear. The building gives you beautiful pictures no matter which angle you capture. Its worth noting that it has a mound full of graves at the rear side and surprisingly there are couple of date trees as well.
