As part of a recent proposal by the city of Seattle, KOMO News confirmed that newly added fencing now divides Denny Blaine Park into two areas.

Clothing is still required along the grass-filled western area of the park, while the eastern, beach area of Denny Blaine is now designated as "clothing optional."

Additionally, several signs are now posted around the park, alerting visitors to the new divided areas.

A day after the fencing was installed, visitors mostly panned the changes. KOMO News found a common sentiment among visitors was that the green mesh around the fencing would eventually attract vandals and taggers to the park.
