The Jurors at Runnymede

Описание к видео The Jurors at Runnymede

The Jurors is an artwork created by Hew Locke for our site at Runnymede to mark the 800th anniversary of the sealing of Magna Carta. It was commissioned jointly by Surrey County Council and the National Trust.

The twelve intricately worked bronze chairs that stand on this ancient meadow incorporate imagery representing key moments in the struggle for freedom, rule of law and equal rights.

The Jurors is free and open to all, every day so why not visit us and see them for yourself. For more information visit: http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/runny....
