3 DAYS in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands Travel Vlog | why you DO NOT need to rent a car!

This was our first time in the U.S. Virgin Islands! We originally planned this trip because it was a short flight from NYC, Andrew needed to renew his passport and coming here did not require one, and there was no COVID test needed! St. Thomas is a very popular cruise port destination as well, but we wanted to see it for more than just that. It has some of the most pristine beaches I've ever been to and diverse island wildlife. Food options were a bit limited to me, but we tried to venture out and try some of the local eats (Caribbean food). We did not rent a car and you'll see in the vlog that we still had a jam-packed itinerary. Stay tuned to see how our day trip in St. John went!

☀️ Weather: Very warm. Be prepared for the occasional light rain throughout the day.

🚶Transportation: We did NOT rent a car and it was the best decision ever. It wasn't cheap to rent a car and the roads are not the easiest to drive through. It is an island after all! You have to drive on the left side and through narrow, winding roads. We took taxis around the island which cost around $6-10 per person ($10 was the max for around a 20-min ride). You can find them at most popular spots like major beaches or downtown. We never had a hard time.
