Righteous Laws and Sex – Deuteronomy 22:1-30

The Law of YeHoVaH given to Moses, to give to Israel was classified as righteous by YeHoVaH. YeHoVaH’s Law was Israel’s wisdom and understanding in the sight of the nations that would hear and say, “Surely this is a wise and understanding people.”

In this portion of Deuteronomy is a variety of righteous Laws designed to make the Israelites good neighbors and citizens of their communities. YeHoVaH’s righteous Laws covered proper and improper sexual relationships, fornication, adultery, marriage, rape, and other sexual relationship do’s and don’ts amongst the Hebrew Israelite tribes.
