QUEBRADA DE HUMAHUACA: Natural and cultural heritage of humanity

The Quebrada de Humahuaca covers a large area in Jujuy province, Argentina. Throughout history it has been and still remains, the natural connection between the north of Argentina and the Andean people.
Driving this route it´s a joy for our senses. The shapes and colours of the landscape together with the vegetation; the colourfull of the dresses of the natives and the way they decorate their houses are a real pleasure for our sight. All this variety of aspects makes the Quebrada de Humahuaca a wonderful touristic site and a place of remarkable geological interest.
Different processes, such as erosion and sedimentation, originated in the interior of the earth and on the surface, repeated over millions of years, produced the surprising landscape of the Quebrada de Humahuaca.
