Virginia Tate has always been one of my favorite pieces to perform and has been in my repertoire for almost 20 years. The piece was written in memory of Paul Smadbeck's mother in law, who passed suddenly at the age of 52. I had been working on editing this video, and finished it the very day my father died. I post this video as a tribute to him.
