What are the unique features BeiDou offers that GPS doesn't?

China has placed the last of the BeiDou Navigation System satellites in orbit. The system has been under development since 2000, and includes satellites in both geo-stationary and non-geostationary orbits. With more satellites than America's GPS system, BeiDou offers greater accuracy, and can now compete with Russia's GLONASS and Europe's Galileo systems. We talk to Jianghui Geng, professor at the Global Navigation Satellite System Research Center at Wuhan University.
