Ep 1 - Motorcycle tour of the Swiss, Italian & Austrian Alps.

This is a diary of my motorcycle trip from the UK via Belgium, France & Germany to the Swiss, Italian & Austrian Alps between 15th & 28th June 2019.

The hotels were organised by members of the P.E.M.C. club.

Episode One covers days 1 – 7 of my trip from the UK via Belgium, Germany, Switzerland and Italy.

We visited the WW1 Ossuary de Douamont Cemetery near Verdun; a loop ride around the Zugspitze Mountain (2962) via the Walchensee & Kochelsee lakes; loop ride around the Province of Eita starting/finishing in Livigno, Italy.

Obviously, the main focus was to ride as many Passes as possible and the better known ones in this episode being the Timmelsjoch, San Leonardo, Jaufen, Foscagno, Di Giovo and Stelvio.
