This is the first stream of a series on the development of the new Quantum 3 BotSDK sample: "3D Raid".

"3D Raid " is a 3D platformer game with Third Person view, inspired by games such as Dragon's Dogma in which a party of characters have to defeat a horde of enemies, including a big Boss.

Sample Overview:

Showcases Bot SDK to control both playable characters (player-replacement) and NPCs;
Stresses the new KCC AddOn in an game with complex level features such as stairs, moving platforms and so on;
A fantasy party-based raiding game with a multitude of playable and non playable characters, skills and game rules.

In this stream (part 1 of the series):

Overview of the new KCC Add On.
3rd person controller features (camera, movement, etc)
Basic gameplay (shooting and destroying targets)

We plan on doing a few special things in this series:

Keep the streams coming in regular intervals;
On every stream, we will walk throught a lot of code that was built before the stream + live code or improve a new feature;
Release multiple versions of the sample as it gets developed so developers will be able to download and try every iteration, instead of only providing a final version;

The new sample is gonna be of intermediate level and available to everyone through our website.
