Katamari Royal Reverie: Roll Up The Sun 8000 Stars

Heya! I skipped the first 30 minutes or so of footage for the video, which is whyi have 7821 at the start. Im also very sad that when talking to the person who gives the stage, it still said my score was around 2000 even though I totally beat it :(

The strategy for this stage was first used by yunomi to get 7321 stars on ps2:    • We Love Katamari - 7321 on Sun level ...  

I think what happens here is that when pressing Y to roll up the sun and then B to cancel, the katamari's position is displaced downwards slightly. So you go to a spot where you are sitting right above a star, then press Y and B, and you could get the star below you. Eventually, you will start gaining size from the stars you pick up, allowing for other stars that are higher up or lower down to be collected naturally as well.

I think this is easier to do in Reroll version, because you can kind of see the difference between stars that are collectible and stars that are just part of the background. I dont remember the ps2 version being the same way.
