Today we are in the Sadie Smithy re purposing some items from the scrap steel bin to make into a forged cutlery set. I make a blacksmith style all metal knife out of a metal file, a two tined twisted fork from a broken pair of knife making tongs, and a spoon from a lug wrench. All three parts of the cutlery set had their challenges, but each turned out well, and come together to make a set that will work well for camping, daily use, and as an interesting addition to my renaissance festival costume.
