How to password protect your Google Docs

If you use Google Docs one thing you may have realised is that there is no option to password-protect individual documents.

It would be great if we had the option to protect Google Docs directly from Google Drive. Unfortunately, this isn't available and I can't imagine this will be changing anytime soon.

The good news is there is an option to password-protect your Google Docs. It isn't perfect and may not be suitable for everyone, but it's a workaround that you may find useful.

In this video, I will show you how you can password-protect your Google Docs. This is a great option if you need to send documents by email and would like to ensure only the recipient who knows the password can access the file.
