𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑫𝒆𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑫𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒚 ♠️

Most of us intuitively know that our fates are determined by a combination of factors, which include but are not limited to nature, nurture, and the choices we make. In this video, I wanted to propose that we have greater control over our destinies than we think we do. Our power lies in our ability to choose. We can choose our attitude, our reaction to a given circumstance, and our future plans, though it be within the constraints of the social structure we have been born into. We are not helpless. Even in the mire of strictly enforced solitary confinement, a person would have the ability to choose his/her thoughts. In that sense, one is free no matter what the world does to one. This knowledge, I hope, is very reassuring to all of us. I have incorporated another passage from Rollo May’s book, Man’s Search for Himself, to prove that, to a great extent, we determine our own destinies. 🎱
