▪︎The war against Sayed Fadlallah destroyed the aura of the Marj'iya.

For many years, we couldn't speak about the wrong movement that was launched against Sayed Fadlallah. Due to weakness and fear, we had to practice Taqiya in many places.

Some people will view this lecture as a support for a certain scholar, or as a stance against another. However, I'm not here to show support to anyone. But rather, to speak about the wrong method of facing what some believed to be a problem.

The war that was launched against Sayed Fadlallah, destroyed the aura of the Marj'iya. People had the audacity to stand and attack any Marja they disagreed with. This is the dangerous outcome of the method that was followed.

You have the right to disagree with any scholar, however, you should respond through knowledge and away from any personal attacks. This is the level of intellectual maturity that we should seek in our Islamic societies.
