In this video as my first run on one, I’m showing how I clean the plater of a SL1200. Note there are plenty if Tutorials from amateur too professional technicians. This is what I did and what I had laying around my tool boxes, and then got to work on cleaning the plater. After a good deep cleaning bath with Dawn dishwashing soap and a good brush , i was able to see the dark nasty filth on my first cleaning run, the second time that’s in this video is too ensure that the plater is clean before next step and for demonstration purposes.
