Fitted for My New and Improved AFO's and HKFO's. I've Never Been Able to Stand So Tall and Proud.

This summer I grew out of my 1st pair of custom cable HKFO's (hip, knee, foot orthotics). This stopped my ability to talk. The process of getting a new one has taken some time. I was super excited to finally get the opportunity for my fitting so we could finish the custom detailing for my specific needs. It only took two fittings and about 5 hrs.

My Orthotist Rob Roy from Hanger Clinic did an amazing job as he always has since I was only 3 months old. I'm back walking again thanks to an innovation that allows me to stand and walk with assisted devices.

People don't know how truly blessed they are to have the simple things in life. Today I got my walking legs back. I'm standing the tallest I every have in my life. Even though it hurts and I have a was to go in stretching and building my stamina up for walking. I'm ready for another adventure.

It's such an incredible feeling to stretch vertically and see the world from a different perspective. Even for just a little while.
