Through this ragini, he questioned Dalits and spoke caste words. The Dalit society got angry on this and it was said that through the song they have humiliated the entire caste by calling them 'mad'.

Bahujan Azad Morcha lodged a complaint at the outpost located in Dogran Mohalla in Hisar, objecting to the words of Ragani. Morcha state president Sanjay Chauhan said that Sapna has insulted Dalits through song. This song of the singer has also been uploaded on YouTube. Chauhan said that he himself belongs to the same caste which has been insulted.

After this, an FIR was registered against Sapna Chaudhary at the police station of Sector-29 in Gurgaon. The complaint was made by Nawab Satpal Tanwar, national president of the social organization Nigahana. Acting on which a case has been registered against Sapna and her circle under Section 34 of the IPC including the SC / ST Act. Simultaneously the SIT team was also formed for investigation.

After all this, the Haryanvi music company More Music broke up with dancer and artist Sapna Chaudhary. The director of More Music Company, Rajesh Peacock announced that his company has no relation with Sapna Chaudhary. The company has now banned Sapna Chaudhary to dance to the songs of More Music.

The company announced that if Sapna Chaudhary performs her songs in front of the public, legal action will also be taken against her. Meanwhile, a campaign against Sapna was launched on Facebook after a case was registered in the Ragini controversy, on which continuous offensive comments were being made against her.

Sapna Choudhary was so hurt by the comments coming every day that she tried to die by eating poison. Though he survived, Sapna had to stay in ICU for several days. During this time also the enthusiasm of the people did not decrease. She first appeared to the media after being discharged from the hospital. Sapna's heartache came out while talking to the media.

Sapna said that obscene messages were being posted about her on social media every day and even during live programs, there were many obscene acts happening in public. Objectionable things were also being said about him. After this, Sapna Chaudhary filed a bail plea in a Gurgaon court but she got rejected.

Sapna then applied for bail in the Punjab Haryana High Court, but many times she was not granted relief. He was granted bail after several attempts. After this, Sapna Chaudhary appealed to the High Court to quash the FIR in the Ragini controversy in June 2017. The matter is still under consideration.
